Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Lovakumar Ravi (https://lovakumar.com) collects when you use this site, why, and what happens to it. It only describes what this site actually does — nothing more.

Information collected

This site collects information only when you choose to submit a form:

• Contact form — your name, email address, and message. Used only to reply to you; it is emailed directly and is not stored in a database.
• Newsletter signup(site footer) — your email address. Used to send new posts and updates, and stored so the same email isn't double-subscribed.
• Free resource / guide signup (the Resources page) — your name, phone number, and email address. Used to send you the resource you requested and to follow up about it.

Browsing the site without submitting a form doesn't send us any personal information. There is no advertising cookie, third-party analytics script, or cross-site tracking pixel on this site — see “Page-view analytics” below for the one exception, which doesn't identify who's browsing.

How information is used

• To send you what you asked for (a reply, a download, an update).
• To avoid sending the same person duplicate emails.
• Your information is never sold, and it is never shared with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes outside this site.

Page-view analytics

This site records which page was viewed and when, so the site owner can see which pages are popular. Each record is just a page path, an optional referring page, and a timestamp — never an IP address, device/browser details, or any identifier that could tie separate page views back to the same visitor. There is no cookie involved and no way to look up what any individual person browsed.

Cookies and local storage

This site stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage — it isn't sent anywhere and doesn't identify you. The only cookies used are session cookies for the site owner's own admin login; visitors don't receive tracking cookies.

Third-party services

Submitted information is processed using a small number of service providers, each only for the purpose described above:

• Supabase — hosts the database and file storage used for newsletter signups, resource signups, and anonymous page-view analytics.
• Resend— delivers emails (replies, newsletters, resource downloads) on this site's behalf.
• Vercel — hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes standard technical information (such as IP address) automatically as part of serving the site.

Data retention and your choices

Newsletter and resource-signup information is kept until you ask for it to be removed. To unsubscribe or request deletion of your information at any time, reach out via the contact page — this is a small, single-person site, so removal requests are handled personally rather than through an automated self-service tool.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for working professionals and isn't directed at children. It doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects or how it's used ever changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will reflect that.
